Masterpiece Masquerade: 2011 PAM Spring Gala

Last fall when I discovered that the 2011 Plains Art Museum Spring Gala was going to be masquerade, I was instantly stoked. I LOVE masquerades. I love the creativity and the costumes and I love, love, love the energy surrounding something so simple. Combine that with an event for art lovers and you get something pretty special.

Luckily, the PAM gala didn’t disappoint. We saw a lot of awesome, beautiful, crazy masks. We saw masks from Venice, masks from Mexico, masks from New Orleans, masks from Fargo. We saw big masks, and little masks, colorful masks and simples masks. And despite all those masked faces, we saw a lot of friends and met some great new people too. It was so fun to see everybody embrace the theme and come out to support a great museum.

Did you attend the event and want to see all the photos? You can view and purchase photographs on our clients site (click here) and check out some of our favorites on our facebook page.

We would like to thank Carly Bishoff and Morea Steinhauer for lending us a hand during this year’s event. You guys are awesome.

Now, on to our favorite photographs of the evening!

And lastly, your favorite Fargo photographers. Unfortunately, we were so into the event we failed to grab a cool picture of both Dave and I in our awesome photo ninja masks, but the middle picture below should show you how awesome we looked towards the end of the evening.
